William Laxson is the Principal Engineer, Owner and President of North Slope Telecom Inc. William earned a Bachelor Of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University. He also holds an Electrical Administrators license and an FCC General Radiotelephone license.
William came to Alaska in 1975 and has since worked continuously in the field of telecommunications. He founded North Slope Telecom Inc. in 1980. William has extensive experience in the design and installation of telecommunications systems including two-way radio, microwave and satellite links, and corporate data networks.
With an emphasis on safety and quality, William has provided the oil industry with reliable communications systems. For the past 28 drilling seasons he has worked with a hands-on approach to the engineering, installation and quality control of projects. He has built a detail-focused organization with an emphasis on workmanship and cost effectiveness.
